Technical Support Engineer Intern - Broomfield, CO
We are in a growth mode and seek a Technical Support Engineer Intern to provide premier technical support to all eSoft customers and support representatives by conducting triage, analysis and eventual resolution to all questions. Working out of the corporate office in Broomfield, CO, we will rely on you to oversee the completion of certain projects assigned by management and provide Telephone, Email, and Instant Messenger Technical Support through an automated queue system on a wide variety of Internet Networking and Security related issues.
Qualifications:
The Technical Support Engineer Intern should have a working knowledge of advanced network configurations including client/server communication, email, web and VPN configurations including remote sites, as well as an understanding of Windows, Linux, Routers and various networking technologies. The ideal candidate will possess the following abilities, experience and skills.
- Advanced understanding of TCP/IP and ports
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to use layman explanation when describing complex technical issues
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with eSoft and UTM products is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize workloads and work under time constraints
- Well-organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, learn new technologies quickly
- Ability to pass on knowledge to your peers
- Ability to function successfully in a team environment and support cross-functional “win-win” resolutions to problems is critically important
- Previous call center experience, helpdesk experience, or customer service background
- Education in information technology, computer science, computer engineering or software development

Development and QA Intern - Broomfield, CO
The Development and QA Intern is responsible for testing eSoft products under various configurations to ensure desired operation in a customer environment. Working directly with software development and technical service engineers you will create a test environment, test software and customer configurations in an effort to find, replicate, and resolve any issues.
The position will be located in the eSoft corporate office in Broomfield, CO. The ideal candidate is agile and can quickly learn and adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced technical environment.
Qualifications:
The Development and QA Intern should have a working knowledge of advanced network configurations including client/server communication, email, web and VPN configurations including remote sites, as well as an understanding of Windows, Linux, Routers and various networking technologies. Candidates will possess the following abilities, experience and skills.
- Excellent problem solving, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills
- Advanced understanding of networking, TCP/IP, and ports
- Experience with Linux operating systems and shell scripting
- Perl, PHP, HTML, MySQL, Javascript, or other programming languages
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with eSoft and UTM products is a plus
- Network testing experience a plus
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, learn new technologies quickly
- Education in information technology, computer science, computer engineering or software development
